Photo Series: Gran Santiago Into Lockdown

SANTIAGO – Over six million people living in the Santiago province are currently in quarantine, after coronavirus numbers in the region kept increasing. Authorities call it “the biggest sanitary challenge in the history of the country”. Chile Today photographer Nelson Quiroz took to the streets of Santiago on the first day of the lockdown to see how people were adapting.
