The majority of the cases are found in the Metropolitan region, especially in dense populated districts such as San Bernardo, Puente Alto and La Pintana. In Puente Alto, the Sótero del Río Hospital is one of the public hospitals struggling to control the huge influx of Covid-19 patients. Chile Today photographer Nelson Quiroz got exclusive access.
